Exhibition All the participants will have an exhibition at Colombo of their works which will be addressed by the delegates and awarded. All the participants will have an exhibition at Thimpu of their works which will be addressed by the delegates and awarded.
Day 1  1.Introduction to all the participating artists2. Visit The National Museum and National Art Gallery

3. Evening Painting Sessions and Cultural Performance by Children

1.  Introduction to all the participating artists2. Visit to the Institute of Zorig Chushum.  It is commonly called the painting school.

3.Cultural performances by children in the evening.

 

Day 2  1.Pay history a visit: Explore the rich cultural heritage of Colombo city2. Visit Independence Commemoration Hall a national monument in Sri Lanka.

3. The Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple or Kelaniya Buddhist temple: an insight to beautiful Buddhist paintings and sculptures.

4.Evening painting sessions: sketch what inspired you the most for the day

Painting SessionThe artists will paint their canvases choosing from varied themes depicting their creativity and talent. They will learn new techniques, different methods and combine these techniques to showcase what they have learnt along the way.

 

Day 03 1.Painting Sessions:  we paint what we saw2.Visit Galle Face Green to enjoy a good evening breeze and view the sun-set. Day 03: Pay history a visitExplore the rich cultural heritage of Thimpu city by visiting the dzongs historically and culturally relevant.  The Thimpu Dzong is located on the west bank of the Wang Chhu. Its grandeur and well maintained premises are a visual treat.

Day 04 1.The Lionel Wendt Memorial Art Centre: Experience the artistic angle of Sri Lanka in its best form.2.Afternoon: Interaction with artist and expert speakers providing a wider perspective to these budding artists.

Painting sessionsLater on a visit to the Buddha Point. The gigantic and the largest statue in the country, the students will be awed by its dimensions. Also the view of the Thimpu Valley is breath taking from this vantage point and a photographer’s delight.

 

Day 05 1.Visit to Galle: Early morning Departure: It is recognized by the UNESCO and the site has been inscribed as a cultural heritage UNESCO World Heritage Site2.Afternoon: Capture the scenic beauty into the sketch books and cameras and later in the evening let your hair down in the beach

3.Evening : Back to Colombo

 

A visit to Bhutan’s Post Office will delight the students and not just the philatelist. The place not only offers a glimpse into the traditions through the stamp collection but also a unique chance for students to get their photos done up as personal stamps. An interesting way for exploration and learning. 

Painting Sessions will continue in the evening.

 

Day 06 1.Morning: Painting Sessions and workshop with a known artist. Children give finishing touch to their paintings2.Afternoon: Children get to do some exciting beach activities at the Mt. Lavinia Beach and enjoy themselves.

3.Evening Cultural Program

 

Takin Preserve, Motithang, home to the national animal of Bhutan, the Takin will be a unique experience for the students. Takins look like a cross between a buffalo and a goat, infact taxonomists place the animal in a category of its own as it is not similar enough to any other animal to fit established categories.Painting Sessions and interaction with some eminent artists.
Day 07 Showcase
1.Afternoon: All the participants will have an exhibition at the end of “Colours of Harmony” displaying the works done during this camp.2.Evening: Dance party for children
